Extracurricular Activities

We believe that education and personal development happens both inside and outside of the classroom. The Roseland Academy has an extensive range of extracurricular activities to enrich the children’s learning experience. Teacher-led clubs take place at lunchtime or after school and vary through the school year.

Students are encouraged to nurture their own interests and we offer a wide range of clubs and activities that take place over the academic year to suit all tastes. This is also a lovely way to interact with students in different year groups and strengthen friendships through different interests.

These are just some of the many extra-curricular opportunities on offer:

The Greenpower Team

In order to inspire young people around the world to get involved in Science, Technology and Engineering, Greenpower bring these skills together through a unique challenge: to design,
build and race an electric car.

We have an outstanding Greenpower Team who are always encouraging new members who are keen to get involved. The team built our Roseland Racer car from scratch and are constantly re-building and improving along with their growing knowledge. They have participated and competed in numerous
events with the car.
For the last week of the summer term, the school collapses the timetable and runs our famed ‘Activities Week’ where students are offered a wide range of activities to develop wellbeing social and life skills.
