GCSE Results 2025

Roseland Academy Class of 2025 – GCSE Results Day

Today was a day of celebration at The Roseland Academy as Year 11 students proudly received their GCSE results, sharing their successes with teachers, parents, carers, and friends. This year’s outcomes are once again a testament to what can be achieved when students set clear goals and work hard, no matter what their academic abilities are.

Headteacher Richard Clarke praised the students, stating:
“Their commitment and determination during exam season was exemplary, making them fantastic role models for students sitting their exams next year. Their achievements reflect the tireless efforts of each individual, supported by the dedication of staff across The Roseland Academy.”

Initial analysis suggests that the Class of 2025 has once again built on The Roseland Academy’s strong track record of success, achieving results significantly above national averages. Particular highlights include outstanding performances in Modern Foreign Languages, English, and Humanities, with outcomes expected to rank highly.

Students spent the morning celebrating with their families and discussing their results with their teachers. There was a real sense of belonging with students commenting on how they didn’t want to leave now that they had reached the end of their time at the school.

Emma Atkins-Gammons, Learning Leader for Year 11, added:
“I want to wish our Year 11 Leavers huge congratulations - they showed commitment, hard work and resilience throughout Year 11 which has shown in their fantastic set of results today! I wish them all happiness and success in the next part of their journey.”

There were numerous individual successes, including those of Isabelle, Finn, Joe, Harry, Suki, Ava, Oscar and Gil who collectively achieved more than thirty GCSE Grade 9s, alongside BTEC Distinction Stars, Distinctions, and over sixty Grade 8s among their results.

Mr Clarke concluded:
“Every member of staff at The Roseland Academy is proud of every student who received their results today and we look forward to seeing all they will go on to accomplish.”

As we say to the Class of 2025, we wish them every success in their chosen next steps, whether they are continuing their education at college, pursuing apprenticeships or moving into employment.
